About the Role:

This candidate is a versatile and highly motivated individual who combines technical expertise in software development, IT infrastructure, and security management to support and enhance Fispoke’s organization's technological ecosystem. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to adapt to diverse technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development:

  • Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code for both backend and frontend applications.
  • Experience with Java, Angular, Spring Boot and SQL databases is a plus.
  • Architect and deploy software as microservices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality features.
  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing of existing applications.

Infrastructure Management:

  • Monitor, maintain, and enhance IT infrastructure, including network devices, security systems, and communication platforms.
  • Experience with Azure and the Microsoft technology stack is a plus.
  • Support cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
  • Work on network design, setup, and troubleshooting (firewalls, VPNs, switches, etc.).

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and manage security measures to protect data and IT systems.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and industry-specific security standards.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation planning.

Desktop and Endpoint Management:

  • Manage and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices across the organization.
  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
  • Implement and maintain endpoint management solutions (e.g., MDM tools).

Collaboration and Documentation:

  • Document processes, procedures, and system configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
  • Provide training and support to end users when necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in software development with expertise in languages such as Java, Angular, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, security, and communication systems.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of security best practices, tools, and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in desktop management tools and troubleshooting techniques including InTune.
  • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) principles is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of virtualization tools and platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Certifications like CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or CompTIA Security+ are a bonus.
