Joe Bennett is Chief Commercial Officer at Fispoke where he is responsible for developing and executing the company's commercial strategy to drive revenue and growth. He leads our sales and business development efforts, drives new partner growth and works closely with the executive leadership team to ensure business objectives are met.
Joe brings with him over 3 decades of financial services experience in the wealth management industry where he has held executive leadership roles.
Prior to joining Fispoke, Joe was Director, Head of Strategic Partnerships for the Bancorp where he led all account management, prospecting and relationship building efforts with their affinity partners, working closely with Broker Dealers, RIA's, TAMP's, Custodians, Banks and Insurance companies and their financial professionals to expand their range of financial planning tools.
Before Bancorp, Joe was a founding partner and COO of m-Power Wealth Management, a start-up B2B2C next-generation, private-label wealth management lending platform to deliver planning based, total balance sheet solutions to affinity groups, BD's, RIA's, financial professionals and their high net worth clients. While there, he built sales and operational business models, led all sales and business development activities and presented the m-Power wealth management lending opportunities to potential investors to fund the enterprise. He also served as National Sales & Lending Director at Charles Schwab Bank, where he led their field sales team and their high net worth lending teams. Joe and his teams focused on Schwab's high net worth clients and its Independent Advisor channel, supporting over 6,000 RIA firms. Previously, Joe built best-in-class wealth management sales and lending operations for Merrill Lynch Credit Corporation.
Prior to Schwab, Joe led PHH Mortgage’s start-up operations as the Senior Vice President, Lending Operations. He oversaw all lending operations, including but not limited to sales, loan processing and closing. While at PHH, Joe was instrumental in leading the successful integration of Merrill Lynch's lending operations, which were outsourced by Merrill Lynch Credit Corporation onto the PHH platform.
Joe is a graduate of Sacred Heart University and attended the Wharton School of Business where he completed course study at the Securities Industry Institute.
