Robert Clare is Founder, Executive Chairman & CEO of Fispoke Inc., a modern, AI-enabled private banking, lending, and cash management platform for independent financial advisors and wealth management firms. Fispoke combines banking capabilities with intelligent technology, data, and workflow automation to help advisors address the full financial needs of their clients.
Bob brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across banking, wealth management, technology, fintech, and large-scale business transformation.
He began his career at IBM and entered banking through MBNA America’s management development program, later spending nearly 25 years in senior leadership roles across Bank of America and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He led businesses and transformation initiatives spanning wealth management, technology and operations, risk management, premier banking, lending, and enterprise transformation.
Across Bank of America and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bob’s leadership roles included Chief Operating Officer for Global Technology & Operations, Global Risk Management, and Legacy Assets & Servicing; Director in Merrill Lynch Wealth Management; Senior Vice President in Premier Banking & Investments; and Senior Vice President in Global Consumer & Small Business Banking.
Bob also served as Managing Director and Strategic Business Unit Head at Cognizant, where he led global partnerships, technology modernization, and digital transformation initiatives for Fortune 100 clients, including American Express.
Bob founded Fispoke to bridge wealth management and banking by giving independent advisors access to integrated private banking, lending, and cash management capabilities through a modern technology platform. By combining these capabilities with AI-driven insights and workflow automation, Fispoke helps advisors deepen client relationships, identify balance sheet opportunities, improve efficiency, and drive sustainable growth.
Bob earned his MBA in International Business & Finance and his BA from Georgetown University, where he was recognized as a Baker Scholar.
